PRC release November 2013 Midwife board exam results

PRC and the Board of Midwifery release results of November 16-17, 2013 Midwife board exam also known as Midwives Licensure examination in few working days from the last day of exam. Those awaiting results may find here the list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), performance of schools and top performing schools as soon as officially released.

The board licensure examination for Midwives was administered in the cities of Manila,  Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. Due to the damage brought by super typhoon Yolanda, PRC cancelled examination in Tacloban and resets exam to April 27-28, 2014.

The members of the Board of Midwifery who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro, Chairman; Dr. Remy B. Dequiña, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Ms. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez, Members. 

Midwife board exam covers the following major subjects: obstetrics, fundamentals of health care and infant care and feeding (November 16, 2013) and Primary health care, professional growth and development (November 17, 2013). Some of the discipline that were integrated on the board exam are sociology, bacteriology, physiology, psychology, nutrition, parasitology, microbiology and pharmacology.

The expected release date of results is after 3-4 working days or on November 20-21, 2013.

Last April 2013, PRC released results in 3 working days. PRC announced that 1,173 out of 2,323 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination. Camarines Sur Polytechnic College - Nabua and Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery were named as top performing schools.

On the same period last year, PRC named 1,732 out of 3,481 passers of Midwife board exam. Results released online in 4 working days. PLT College Inc. was the only top performing school according to PRC.
